elizabeth olwen x tie bar

And now for something different! My new tie collaboration with The Tie Bar! It’s so fun to see my work come to life on different kinds of products but when it’s moving into completely new territory, it sparks new circuits in me. The collection is called The Summer of Love and the name of the collection makes me feel so seen! I have the soul of a 60s flower child. We designed a collection of 6 ties and I love them all. You can check out the whole collection right here.

elizabeth olwen x echo newyork

Introducing my silk scarf for Echo New York! Only 100 of these beauties are for sale, as part of the Echo100 campaign where 100 artists rally for 100 charities (in honour of 100 years of Echo). Together, we hope to raise $1M for charity. Each limited edition scarf is printed on heavyweight silk with a hand-rolled hem, individually numbered (only 100 produced) and packaged in a custom gift box. We hope to raise $10,000 for this amazing organization.

I think this piece evokes that feeling of hope, of something being on the horizon, a new day full of possibility, a fresh start, and moving towards the light. It’s wearable art and when it's with me, I feel like a magnet for positive energy —like I'm waving the flag to attract LOVE and JOY. It's truly, truly one of my most favourite things I've ever worked on, and all the proceeds go to a charity I've chosen to support, called The Color Movement (a charity by big sister group, Alight). Apart from the obvious connection through name, I was inspired by this El Salvadorian organization because they empower communities challenged by violence, poverty and exploitation by creating sanctuary shelter spaces and offering free art programs, and painting colorful murals in neighbourhoods to uplift and create a sense of hope and support.

Snag one of these luxurious beauties, and support an amazing cause!

elizabeth olwen x align swim

I’m so excited to announce my second swim collaboration with Singapore-based sustainable swimwear brand, Align Swim. It’s called Sunkissed, and it’s inspired by soft, sunkissed skies at sunset, as the colors change and the sun sinks below the horizon after a perfect day at the beach. I was delighted for the chance to design all 6 pieces — from the cuts, to the print, to the refinement of the beautiful sunkissed palette. I consider myself a multi-disciplinary designer, and having the opportunity to explore this through not just print, but also cuts, and storytelling, is such a dream for me.
